Important News for Nook Readers
If you’re a Nook reader, I regret to tell you that my books will no longer be available at Barnes & Noble’s Nook store as of today, April 30. I don’t want to get into all the behind-the-scenes nonsense that has been going on, so I’ll just say this: I’ve been in the publishing industry for three decades now, and every time a publisher or retailer stops paying authors for books already sold, it’s the first step on a one-way road that ends badly. Every. Time.
This was not an easy decision, but I have permanently removed all my books from the Nook store as of the close of business today. I simply can’t afford to donate my ebook income to a corporation owned by a multi-million-dollar hedge fund.
Please rest assured, I plan to continue bringing you wonderful books to love for many years to come, in all your favorite formats: ebook, audio, and paperback. You can buy all my ebooks at Amazon and many are free to read in the Kindle Unlimited program. (If you’ve never owned a Kindle before, I highly recommend the Paperwhite, the favorite e-reader of booklovers around the world.) You’ll find my audiobooks at Audible and iTunes, and I’m working on getting paperbacks into libraries later this year. Thank you for your understanding and support during this challenging time.
